Attributes of true love...

"The attributes of Love are: Meekness, Tolerance, Patience, Forgiveness and Reconciliation."

Meekness is to be kind, calm, to be good listener, to share and let the other free to be thyself. To love without any expectation in mind, demanding nothing in return.

Tolerance is to take some disadvantages for the goods of the other; to accept challenges, difficulties and willing to overcome together. Sometimes, it's about taking care of thyself, taking own business, preventing other from worry, sadness, too much thinking, let the loved one to be in peace and tranquility even though thyself may be in sorrow.

Reconciliation is to have harmonized souls. It is not limited to comprehending the verbal and body language. It's more about understanding the language of heart and soul...A silent care and a desire to understand everything about the other: health, study, family, thoughts, feelings, wants and needs...

Forgiveness has something pretty closed to tolerance but it emphasizes the willing to accept some negative points of the other; willing to be constructive not aggressive; willing to admit mistakes, weak points and try to improve each other.

Patience is to maintain all above attributes since building up love and keeping happiness is a long journey. "True love is patient for it knows that love is freedom and cannot be forced or compelled, but will always be how, where, and when It will."

"Many things have been attributed to love that it is sometimes doubtful to say what is love. However, a few facts remain clear. True love demands nothing in return. It is not given with an expectation in mind. It goes with no strings attached. It does not covet or possess. It gives freely. It feels the pain when the other person is in pain and it rejoices when the other person attains something positive in life, be it in a different relationship, a new job, or career. True love understands. True love tolerates. True love knows that love is indeed the most powerful force in the universe and therefore cannot be outdone by any other force. True love is patient for it knows that love is freedom and cannot be forced or compelled, but will always be how, where, and when It will."

However, it is so simple that its simplicity makes it complicating. People tend to be in doubt with something so simple that they only believe in what are colorful, sophisticated and complicated? There are constraints to it because not everybody has patient, meekness, ... but selfish, overhasty, aggressive? Truth to be told, not everybody by instinct has all these attributes. I think the key is love but critical characteristics are modest, meekness and patience. True love trains and adjusts people, enhances them to be better together. Like, love, love deeper and deeper. A friend -->close friend with heart to heart -->lover-->marriage. Love shows the way, creates a will and then a way, deeper love and so on... It's feeling, emotion, the cycle of Love, Life, and Affection with the playing role of The Past and The Present. Perhaps that is why it is difficult to understand what is true love. It costs us some little tough experiences to understand and even when we understood, it takes lifetime to build, maintain and enjoy true love.
