Happy new year 2007
Greeting the new year in my room alone. In this very room, I recall all things which happened in the previous year. Some're good, some're bad. Old year passed through, new year comes. To all my friends, may we pass through difficulties and sadness if any, open and welcome new happiness, success and joy in our lives. We'll happy to receive upcoming challenges, attempt to learn and overcome them. We have been observing our lives to chances to become anew, better, stronger, happier and wealthier. Sometimes we found ourselves sailing in the sea with no target; just fix on some, be brave to venture and carry on. May we all have clear sailing in this new year and all the years to come.
Best wishes and regards,
Khuong
Little by little
I found google video's streamline is much faster and smoother than youtube but for this song, there is only youtube I can put up with. Anyway, I lost this source video for long and can't find any available in market now. "Little by little" from Oasis, old yet meaningful song about human life. Listen to relax, listen to concern. Just like we hear "Trinh Cong Son" songs about life philosophy. Be patient for youtube to load My experience to deal with this slowly buggy is just "play" the video and do something else, then get back to see when it's done.
What impresses me about this clip is that a tiny man "little by little" becomes a giant through his own attempt and help of many people throughout his life. When he's small, there're people help him money, give him smile; when he crosses the street by himself, he grows bigger; when he falls, there's a friend give hands and lift him up. "Little by little", from a baby to an old man, from small to big, from dumb to wise, from dependent to independent, so goes our lives, so goes "little by little"

Entry for January 21, 2007
Finally, I took the final exam and had relatively good result. I feel so much released, fresh and happy since I know I no longer have to review this test and take it again unless I want to have higher score or have to renew the test result after 5 years. At the moment, my achieved test score is fine and enough for me to carry on further steps.
Honestly, although I passed through many tests and exam throughout my study process, this is the most challenging yet interesting one I put up with. I love it but sometimes I hate to study and review it from times to times to practice my problem solving, critical reasoning and analyzing skill. Suddenly, I recognize that I am so much lazy in thinking and how I am so much unwilling to practice thinking. No wonder in the recent class I took in my company, a lecturer informs that according to one's famous research, people on average only use 1% of their brain. Is it really true? Anyway, I have to take this research for grant since I prove it somehow. When I force myself to focus, analyze and solve 2 + 37 + 41 problems within 3.5 hours in real test, I find so much tired, stress and uncomfortable. Luckily, I trained myself before but admittedly, thinking is not my habit. Not sure 1% is precise number in my case but the only thing I'm sure is that analyzing, problem solving and critical reasoning skills are really useful and important. They help us to adapt to new situation, study new thing, making decision more accurately since we know and be trained how to spot out critical problem, identify the reasoning line, analyze supporting facts, figures or to argue against or for the argument to balance choices, reconcile conflict...
From this test, I also have chance to see how my friends and my parents really care and support me troughout the process. How happy that in the route I take, there are friends to help me (booking test, transferring money, telling tips), share with me the worries and show me how to overcome problems. Sometimes it doesn't necessary to be a real support but a saying like "hey, how everything's going?", "don't worry, try your best", "good luck" really put me on and keep myself up to destination.
Each time I pass trough a door, there are new chances and new things waiting. Clearly, at the moment, I feel happy since I reach my predefined milestone but I have to remind myself to keep up moving and going ahead. Again my favorite slogan comes to my mind: "Smart people learn how to improve their lives, happy people learn how to live with their shortcomings"
